Cotton
Cotton is a long-trusted fabric when it comes to clothing creation. Your Dressmaker offers historical garments in 100 percent pure, natural cotton fiber. Our cotton is of a medium weight. This woven fabric is very comfortable to wear and is often used to make a wide range of garments, from chemises and blouses to mens Renaissance shirts, vests, breeches, and even capes and cloaks. It can be machine washed on a half load. Use a gentle, short spin cycle and gentle washing powder, with a maximum water temperature of 85°F/30°C. We offer medieval and Renaissance clothing in a range of cotton colors, and you can order swatches of the different colors here so that you can be sure you are ordering the right clothing item or selecting the right fabric for custom-made clothing.
